Letter to the editor

I would like to address several letters that have been written to the editor and have been published in The Eagle from a local Hood resident. The author of these letters uses outright slander to try and persuade voters and readers to not support Barack Hussein Obama, as the author refers to him (I have no problem with this name).
The letter tries to convince the public that Obama is not a U.S citizen and is therefore is not qualified to be president of the United States.
All of the evidence given by the author is not supported by outside sources and if they were I wonder if they would be at all credible.
In my opinion, this argument against Obama is not relevant at this stage in the election.
I do not, however, want to get into a petty argument about the details of his citizenship.
Ask yourself: Do you really think the FBI would have allowed Obama to get this far in the race without proving his U.S. citizenship? I believe there are other more important issues to consider when choosing the next president of the United States.
