The Madison County Eagle features a special full-color keepsake commemorative page entitled, “Madison cheers Obama win,“ in its Nov. 13 edition. The page features images of Madison County residents celebrating the historic election of the first-ever African-American U.S. president.
Included are photo highlights of the main Madison County party marking the Illinois U.S. Senator’s win. (The party was four days after the Nov. 6 Eagle went to press and so there are no images from it in that edition.)
Be sure to pick up a copy of this week’s Eagle. This is a moment you will want to preserve to share with future generations.
